Welcome to My Web!

Welcome to my internet home. As you can see, I'm Matthew Watson. From this web hub you can visit my other websites and generally get to know me better. If you have any questions or comments, just drop me a note—I'd love to hear from you!

About Me

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Denver, with a BA in English and a Political Science minor. I love all aspects of verbal communication—writing, reading, speaking, acting, editing, reciting poetry, page layout, calligraphy, you name it. I also enjoy thinking and reading about almost any philosophical subject, of which history, political economy, and linguistics are my favorites.

Professionally, I work as a private piano tutor, as well as doing volunteer work teaching English to middle-school-aged students. My other jobs include editing documentation for an information security company, roofing, and spending a couple of summers behind a local Dairy Queen counter. (No, there wasn't much free ice cream involved.) Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy your visit!

My Websites

Below are links to my piano website and two blogs that I maintained as a hobby in 2008.

MW Piano Studio

MW Piano Studio is my official website as a piano teacher. Visit it for information on prices, methods, and contact information. Additionally, I am always expanding its resource page..

Word Miner

Word Miner is a (currently inactive) blog about the English language, covering everything from pronouns to pens.

Abdiel

Abdiel Press was a project of mine in high school and community college. I used the website and blog to share my thoughts on a variety of topics, and to archive essays and magazines that I wrote.
